Hi, I was on facebook and someone commented on my facebook saying there was a picture of me up somewhere, the link said google something so I clicked it, yes I know foolish, and then it downloaded onto my computer. Now pop ups keep saying Runtime error 21 at 019D49D2…the first three numbers can keep changing though. I did a norton check and an avg check and nothing shows up. Now it says TypeError:avg_DTFox.prefs has no properties everytime I try and open up firefox which does not open regardless. I am not well educated with computers so can someone walk me through the process or tell me what to do to fix this? I cannot even access the internet because firefox wont let me load the internet. PLEASE HELP !!
UPDATE: fixed the firefox problem so i now have access to the internet….but the things still pop up.

I have been giving it Tylenol and Nyquil, and letting it rest, but nothing is helping??

No, seriously, I think I have a pretty big problem and not sure what to do.

So I click on some Nascar news the other day, and it pops me over to something called “lalate” it was slow loading and I knew immediately there was something wrong. I back out of it, but my ‘spybot’ immediately started poping up stuff about accepting changes. i denied all the changes. Then I ran spybot, it should some trojan stuff and Microsoft, and I deleted, and restarted computer, it immediately started again, I ran Malwarebytes, which found 7 viruses and they were deleted, I restarted computer, then it started again, I used AdAware, it found 6 viruses, same thing, this is a constant annoyance is there anyway to get rid of this junk and do I need to just kiss my computer bye??

Ok, it just popped up something again,

System Startup user entry

Windows System Recover!
C:\DOCUME…………
Thanks for any help!

I know there programs out there that can be put on a bootable disk that allow someone to change the admin password on a computer. My question is – is there any way to prevent that, short of changing settings in the BIOS to prevent it from booting from any external devices?

Is the old adage true- that if someone can get physical access to a machine, they can get into it, no matter what???
