Hi, I was on facebook and someone commented on my facebook saying there was a picture of me up somewhere, the link said google something so I clicked it, yes I know foolish, and then it downloaded onto my computer. Now pop ups keep saying Runtime error 21 at 019D49D2…the first three numbers can keep changing though. I did a norton check and an avg check and nothing shows up. Now it says TypeError:avg_DTFox.prefs has no properties everytime I try and open up firefox which does not open regardless. I am not well educated with computers so can someone walk me through the process or tell me what to do to fix this? I cannot even access the internet because firefox wont let me load the internet. PLEASE HELP !!
UPDATE: fixed the firefox problem so i now have access to the internet….but the things still pop up.

starting in the morning, our symantec antivirus suddenly keeps popping up and displaying that it acted on the risk “bloodhound.E…” by quarantining it. but the thing kept popping up like 5 seconds after i close the notice window. now, it’s probably quarantined 50 of the same virus. will someone please help me and tell me how to solve this or what’s going on?
I tried deleting the file out of the symantec program data (that’s where it originally came from according to the thing) but it can’t be completed because it was in use by another program. i think it might be because the symantec thing put it in quarantine, but i can’t figure out how to get it out. can anyone help me and am i doing the right thing?

The CD rom in my laptop stopped working a couple of months back. Now some of my system files have been corrupted and i can’t start windows. My laptop supports bootable USB so i want to create a bootable Windows XP flash drive.

I read some article and downloaded the software ‘ Flash Boot ‘ to do that. With Flash Boot i tried to convert a bootable XP cd into a bootable flash drive. But everytime i try, this error appears.
” Error: Specified CD-ROM disk is neither ISOLinux-based nor floppy emulation mode bootable CD-ROM; Thus it cannot be converted ”

I also downloade PE Builder(BartPE). There’s an option to write a bootable cd, but it doesn’t seem to help me as my cd rom is not working.

It there any other software that i can use to create a bootable flash drive? Or can i make a ISOLinux-based windows XP CD and use Flash Boot to convert it to a flash drive?

Any computer genius please help me out. Any assistance would be very much appeacited.

I need to create a custom boot cd that I can use after getting that dreaded “Blue Screen of Death” crash because I can’t get back into Windows XP in any mode. Only by using the CD drive. I need something that boots similar to the Windows XP setup CD or BartPE but using a particular program (ie. Backup Utility). I tried creating an AutoRun CD but I can’t get it to boot automatically except in Windows.
Again, I want to make this myself using other programs. In other words, I don’t want to use the Windows XP setup CD or any other pre-made CDs unless it is a program that I can just create the CD by substituting my own application to boot up before Windows does since I wouldn’t be able to get that far anyway after the Blue Screen. Also, I know to set the boot options to CD-ROM first, too.

lately there has been these new screens popping up at random times ( especially when something is loading). It says that my computer needs to download something to protect my computer but I know that it is not good. So what do i do and if you know how to get rid of this problem please help. I ALSO HAVE MCAFEE the greatest virus protector so I dont know what is wrong
